MENTAL HEALTH

Your Children’s Mercy benefits support your mental health needs and those of your family in multiple ways.

Free short-term counseling and other resources from the EAP

The SupportLinc Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help you manage life’s stresses. The EAP offers confidential support to you and your household family members at no charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – from the convenience of your desk or the comfort of your home. This benefit provides each individual up to eight counseling sessions per issue per plan year and unlimited access to information and self-help programs to help you live a balanced and happy life. You and your household family members can:

  • Access confidential, short-term counseling sessions (in-person or virtual through video) to resolve emotional concerns such as stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, job pressures, relationship/marital conflicts, substance use and more.
  • Get assistance from a coach to boost your emotional fitness, learn healthy habits, establish new routines, build your resilience and more.
  • Receive expert consultations for financial and legal issues, identity theft support and more.
  • Request information, resources and referrals from a work-life specialist to help with everyday needs such as child or elder care, pet care, home improvement or auto repair.
  • Access the Mental Health Navigator assessment to receive guidance to access care and support.

It’s okay to say you’re not okay. The EAP is here to help.
